Role & responsibilities

Infrastructure Management

• Manage on-premise & virtualized environments (Windows/Linux, VMWare).
• Ensure high availability, DR readiness, backups & storage systems.
  

Trading Platform Support

• Oversee web/mobile trading platforms, CTCL, OMS/RMS.
• Handle deployments, patches, vendor coordination & system performance.
  

Security & Compliance

• Implement endpoint protection, firewalls & patching.
• Conduct audits, monitor logs & ensure SEBI/Exchange compliance.
  

Database & Applications

• Manage SQL/MySQL databases, integrations & APIs.
• Troubleshoot performance issues & ensure backups.
  

Team & Vendor Coordination

• Lead IT support team & manage SLAs.
• Coordinate with vendors, maintain IT assets & licenses.

Preferred candidate profile

Technical Skills

• Windows Server, Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu), AD, DNS, DHCP
• VMware virtualization, SQL/MySQL DB admin
• Trading platforms (APIs, RMS/OMS, market data)
• Firewall, endpoint protection, scripting (PowerShell/Bash preferred)
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors in CS/IT/Engineering (preferred)
• Certifications (MCSE, RHCE, VCP) a plus
• 7–12 years in IT infra & app management (BFSI/Capital Markets)
• Hands-on trading environment experience with real-time systems
  

Soft Skills

• Strong troubleshooting & RCA skills
• Ability to multitask & manage incidents under pressure
• Good communication with users, vendors & compliance
• Solid documentation & change control discipline
