IT Manager

We are looking for a seasoned IT Manager with over 15 years of experience to oversee technology operations and lead our IT team The ideal candidate will bring expertise in IT infrastructure, cyber security, compliance, and team management, with the ability to align IT initiatives to business goals.

Position Overview

The IT Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations, strengthening our cyber security posture, driving strategic technology projects, and maintaining compliance with applicable data protection and information security regulations.

Core Responsibilities

1.

a. Manage and monitor enterprise IT infrastructure including servers, networks, storage, firewalls, and CCTV.

b. Maintain accurate IT asset and employee registers with quarterly reviews.

c. Establish and enforce SOPs for hardware/software procurement, onboard, and vendor management.

d. Track IT asset life cycle and plan for timely upgrades or replacements.

2.

a. Define and update IT security policies, access control, and user permissions.

b. Conduct periodic security audits and ensure compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, CERT-In guidelines, and Indias Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act 2023).

c. Implement strong endpoint, email, and network security protocols including BYOD policies.

d. Ensure disaster recovery and incident response plans are in place and tested.

a. Develop IT strategies aligned with business growth and scalability requirements.

b. Plan and manage IT budgets with a focus on cost optimization and service improvement.

c. Lead technology initiatives such as ERP upgrades, cloud migration, and hyper-converged infrastructure deployment.

4.

a. Provide leadership and mentoring to the IT team across locations.

b. Define SLAs for IT services and ensure adherence.

c. Manage external vendors, contracts, and negotiate technology partnerships.

5.

a. Oversee help desk operations and end-user support across departments.

b. Ensure seamless onboard and off boarding of employees with appropriate access rights.

Skills & Qualifications

a. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred).

b. 15+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.

c. Strong knowledge of enterprise IT systems (Windows/Linux servers, LAN/WAN, cloud, firewalls).

d. Experience with enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory.

e. Familiarity with cyber security frameworks and data protection standards.

f. Proven vendor management and contract negotiation experience.

g. Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, CISM, or CISSP are an advantage.

Key Focus Areas

Preferred Qualities

a. Hands-on experience with SOC operations, SIEM solutions, and security implementation.

b. Exposure to public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hyper-converged infrastructure.

c. Experience managing IT in multi-location or enterprise environments.

d. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving organizational environment.
