Seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Deputy Manager / Manager to lead and manage the complete Plant IT operations at SATA Vikas. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in IT infrastructure, virtualization technologies, cybersecurity, industrial IT systems, and IT compliance frameworks. The role requires hands-on execution ability combined with leadership skills to drive digital transformation initiatives, ensure robust and secure IT operations, and support IoT/Industry 4.0 implementations across the plant.

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Infrastructure Management

• Oversee end-to-end management of plant IT infrastructure including servers, networks, storage, firewalls, and end-user systems.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of IT systems supporting 24x7 plant operations.
• Capacity planning, hardware lifecycle management, and performance optimization.
• Manage data backup, DR strategy, and periodic restoration testing.

2. Virtualization & Server Management

• Manage virtualization platforms (Hyper-V).
• Administrate virtual servers, optimize resource allocation, and ensure secure configuration.
• Evaluate and deploy upgrades, patches, and new virtual instances as required.

3. Cybersecurity & Compliance

• Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies, endpoint security, network security, and monitoring controls.
• Work with central IT/NOC/SOC teams for threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards including ISMS (ISO 27001) and organizational IT policies.
• Maintain audit readiness and provide documentation for internal/external audits.

4. IT Operations & Support

• Timely resolution of IT incidents, service requests, and operational issues.
• Ensure adherence to ITIL processes: Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules and system health checks.

5. Digital Initiatives & IoT Implementation

• Support and execute digital transformation projects, including IoT/Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Work with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Maintenance, SCM) for digital integration.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and propose automation/efficiency solutions for plant operations.

6. Vendor & Project Management

• Manage IT vendors, AMC partners, and service providers.
• Track project deliverables, budget, and timelines for IT and digital initiatives.
• Review technical proposals, negotiate contracts, and evaluate vendor performance.

7. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain updated documentation for network diagrams, system configurations, and standard operating procedures.
• Prepare periodic reports on IT performance, incidents, and project progress for management review.

Required Skills and Competencies

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure (Servers, networks, firewalls, storage).
• Hands-on experience in virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V.
• Good knowledge of Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies.
• Exposure to OT/Industrial network, DMZ setups.
• Proficiency in cybersecurity toolsendpoint protection (EDR, XDR, MDR), SIEM, SOC, VAPT, IDS/IPS, MDM, email security.
• Knowledge of cloud concepts.
• Experience with backup solutions, DR setups, and system monitoring tools.

Compliance & Frameworks

• Understanding of ISMS (ISO 27001) standards and IT audit processes.
• Familiarity with ITIL framework and structured IT governance.
