Job Summary:

The Head IT (Apna Ghar) will be responsible for leading the technology strategy, development, and execution of the company's e-commerce mobile application for building materials retail sales. This role requires deep expertise in software development, product catalog management, and e-commerce technologies to ensure a seamless customer experience and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Technology Strategy & Leadership:

o Develop and implement a comprehensive technology roadmap aligned with business goals.

o Oversee the design, development, and deployment of the mobile app and related digital platforms.

o Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of the e-commerce platform.

Product Development & Innovation:

o Lead the end-to-end development of the mobile app, including UI/UX, backend architecture, and integrations.

o Implement AI-driven product recommendations and search optimization for an enhanced user experience.

o Stay updated with emerging technologies to drive innovation in the e-commerce space.

Product Catalog Management:

o Oversee the creation, organization, and optimization of the product catalog for building materials.

o Ensure accurate product descriptions, pricing, and inventory management.

o Implement automated catalog updates and data-driven insights for better customer engagement.

Retail Sales & Customer Experience:

o Optimize the mobile app for seamless transactions, payment gateways, and order tracking.

o Enhance customer engagement through personalized recommendations and loyalty programs.

o Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to drive conversion rates and revenue growth.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

o Lead and mentor a team of developers, designers, and product managers.

o Work closely with cross-functional teams to align technology with business objectives.

o Report directly to the Managing Director (MD) with regular updates on tech initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Expertise in programming languages (e.g., Java, Swift, Python, React Native).

• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and database management.

• Experience in product catalog structuring, inventory management, and data analytics.

• Proven ability to lead tech teams and drive digital transformation.
