IT Finance TBM Consultant, Business Consulting Technology Transformation

• Serve as a track on IT Finance / TBM consulting engagements for clients.
• Execute consulting engagements in a global delivery model, working with consultants across regions.
• Contribute to consulting offerings and internal initiatives.
• Be involved in knowledge management efforts to provide value-added TBM consulting services that enable our clients to meet the global landscape's changing needs.

To be successful in this role, you must have-

• Hands on experience with Apptio, Cloudability, Nicus, other IT Finance tools
• Consulting / operations experience performing some or all the following tasks within IT Financial Management/ Technology Business Management
• High to expert-level skills and experience in formulaic logic, e.g., if statements, VLOOKUP, hlookup, pivot tables, macros, etc., in Microsoft Excel
• Skilled at working with large data sets, quickly detecting and resolving data-related issues.
• Strong attention to detail; good communication and presentation skills
• Support the governance and management of IT financial planning and forecasting.
• An understanding of IT costing strategies to ensure that internal customers understand total cost of ownership on IT project consumption, components of Return on Investment of IT- related projects and intercompany allocation strategy of these costs when / if appropriate.
• Analyze the financial impact of emerging technologies (i.e. Cloud, AI)
• Drives IT cost management discipline via opportunity cost identification, continuous improvement, and methods to optimize spend and ROI.
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills, ability to determine proper course or methodology without significant direction or supervision.
• Willingness to travel

• Nice to have-

• TBM (ACP, ACE) or similar IT Finance certification
• Experience with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles in IT
• Understanding of IT industry, particularly in cloud and network services, pricing and economics, procurement, and operations
• Experience in Cloudability, Finops and benchmarking
