Role & responsibilities

As part of the Executive Level Team, the IT Executive will:

Installation & Maintenance of IT Equipment

• Install, configure, and maintain school IT systems including computers, laptops, printers, projectors, smart boards, and other devices.
• Ensure classroom technology such as AV systems, smart boards, and projectors function efficiently.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance of IT equipment to minimize downtime.

Network & Connectivity Management

• Monitor and maintain wired and wireless networks across the school campus.
• Ensure proper internet connectivity and troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Assist in maintaining secure access to school networks and systems.

User Support & Troubleshooting

• Provide first-line technical support for hardware and software issues faced by staff and students.
• Resolve technical problems related to classroom teaching equipment and administrative systems.
• Document issues and resolutions to build an internal IT knowledge base.
• Troubleshoot and induct regarding FIS-CRM portal.

IT Operations & Coordination

Support academic and administrative events with necessary IT setups (presentations, AV equipment, video conferencing).

• Coordinate with external vendors for major repairs, installations, or software support.
• Assist in implementation of IT policies, data security protocols, and upgrades as per school requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree or Diploma in

  Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

• 13 years of proven experience in IT support or system administration (experience in the education sector preferred).
• Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, networking, and classroom technologies.
• Practical experience in troubleshooting IT hardware and software issues.
• Good knowledge of LAN/Wi-Fi networking and internet systems.
• Ability to set up, maintain, and troubleshoot classroom AV and smart technologies.
• Strong problem-solving ability and capacity to handle pressure during urgent IT issues.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support staff and students.
