Job Description

As an IT Infra Support specialist, your role will involve providing enterprise-level assistance to end users in diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware problems, as well as assisting in the installation of applications and programs. Your responsibilities will include resolving network issues, configuring operating systems, and using remote desktop connections to offer immediate support. You will also utilize email and chat applications to provide quick answers to simple IT issues, while for more complex problems, you may contact clients via phone or provide clear written instructions and technical manuals. Additionally, you are expected to be a good team player and take on the responsibility of a Site Administrator role. Key Responsibilities: - Install and configure computer applications - Monitor and maintain computer networks - Diagnose and troubleshoot all PC hardware and software issues in accordance with corporate policies, standards, and procedures - Manage IT asset management including procurement and inventory management - Support user-end IT requirements and maintain high user satisfaction - Manage data backup as part of the disaster recovery plan - Maintain the local IT infrastructure to ensure system stability and reliability - Track and monitor IT system usage to ensure corporate standards and procedures are implemented and maintained - Conduct and/or facilitate training for employees on software/hardware/new IT tools and processes - Control IT expenses and ensure cost-effectiveness - Establish and support a positive work environment based on mutual respect, honesty, teamwork, and continuous improvement - Manage and monitor Servers, Networking, and Security infrastructure - Troubleshoot basic networking and server issues - Coordinate problem analysis of server software and hardware problems - Provide quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards - Ability to creatively and decisively solve problems - Ability to manage workload and multitask in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities - Define tasks and requirements to the appropriate level of detail to enable accurate and timely implementation - Ability to work with flexible hours and travel domestically Qualifications Required: - Diploma/Bachelors in Computer Science/Information Technology or its equivalent - Service-oriented and proficient in ITIL concepts of IT service delivery - Proven experience as IT Infra Support or similar role Additional Company Details: The incumbent operates as an Individual contributor and reports to Manager Information Technology (Infrastructure) to support him in all day-to-day operations to achieve the business objectives of the company. As an IT Infra Support specialist, you are expected to possess good verbal and written communication skills, system thinking, and systematic problem-solving skills. You should be able to work well with a team or independently with minimal supervision, be self-motivated, eager to learn, demonstrate excellent business ethics and integrity, and be a strong team player willing to share knowledge and support other team members as needed.,
