IT Automation Specialist

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled IT Process Automation Specialist with hands-on experience in AI-driven tools, RPA platforms, and workflow automation. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated solutions that streamline business processes, improve efficiency, and reduce manual effort across departments.

This role sits at the intersection of IT, AI, and process improvement, making it critical for scaling our digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze business and IT workflows to identify automation opportunities.

Design and develop automation workflows using tools like Power Automate, Zapier, n8n, or Make.

Implement RPA bots using platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.

Integrate AI services (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, Google Vertex AI) for intelligent process automation (e.g., document processing, chatbot automation, decision-making).

Develop custom scripts or microservices in Python, JavaScript, or similar for automation tasks.

Use APIs, webhooks, and integration tools to connect third-party platforms.

Monitor and maintain automation flows, troubleshoot failures, and ensure process continuity.

Document workflows, best practices, and solution architecture.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, ops, business analysts, data science) to align on automation priorities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

3+ years of experience in IT automation, DevOps, or systems integration.

Proven experience with automation platforms:

Low-code: Power Automate, Zapier, n8n, Make

RPA: UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or similar

Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and cloud integrations.

Familiarity with AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, Azure Cognitive Services).

Proficiency in at least one scripting language: Python, JavaScript, or Shell.

Strong problem-solving skills and an automation-first mindset.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Git, and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus.
