IT Asset Management

The IT Asset Management service is responsible for maintaining the IT assets of the site and FIPL IT infrastructure, which includes desktops, laptops, workstations, printers, projectors, IPAD, IP Phones, and Video equipment. This involves keeping a detailed record of hardware assets in a database, including configuration details, serial numbers, asset codes, warranty information, and details of Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC). Additionally, the service is tasked with maintaining a software asset database by recording license information, license expiry dates, vendor details, project allocations, start dates, and end dates of projects. Key Responsibilities - Maintain the hardware asset database with accurate and up-to-date information. - Record configuration details, serial numbers, asset codes, warranty details, and AMC information for all IT assets. - Keep track of software licenses, license expiry dates, vendor information, project allocations, and project timelines. - Ensure compliance with software license agreements and renewals. - Coordinate with vendors for hardware and software procurement and maintenance. - Provide support for IT asset audits and inventory checks. Skill & Experience - Proficiency in IT asset management tools and software. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording asset information. - Knowledge of hardware and software procurement processes. - Familiarity with IT asset tracking and inventory management best practices. - Excellent communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external vendors. - Prior experience in IT asset management roles preferred.
