Job Overview

We are looking for an IT Asset Management Specialist with expertise in Software and Hardware Asset Management (SAM/HAM), CMDB, and Software Procurement. The role involves managing software licenses, compliance, SaaS applications, and hardware asset lifecycle while ensuring effective governance and cost optimization.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage SAM/HAM processes, tools (SAM Pro, HAM Pro, AMDB), and license compliance for major publishers (Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, Adobe, VMware).
• Oversee hardware and software asset lifecycle, including EOL management and sustainability KPIs.
• Conduct SAM maturity assessments and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage SaaS applications using specialized tools, ensuring governance and compliance.
• Develop workflows and automation solutions for asset management processes.
• Provide insights and reports using Tableau, ServiceNow Performance Analytics, and Power BI.
• Engage stakeholders across multiple geographies and senior management levels.
• Lead cost-saving and cost-avoidance initiatives through asset optimization.

Mandatory Skills

• IT Asset Management (SAM/HAM) with 4+ years of hands-on experience.
• Deep knowledge of licensing models (IBM PVU/RVU, Oracle Processor/Core-based, Concurrent, Socket-based).
• Familiarity with discovery tools (SCCM, JAMF, Qualys, ServiceNow).
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in application rationalization and modernization.

Preferred/Desired Skills

• Certifications: CSAM, CHAMP, CAMP, ITAM, SAM (preferred).
• Hands-on with Tier-1 publisher configurations (Oracle, IBM).
• Workflow design and custom automation experience.
