Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Administer and maintain
Windows operating systems
(installation, configuration, troubleshooting).
Manage and monitor
Microsoft Intune
for endpoint security, compliance, and device policies.
Oversee
Windows Defender
and other endpoint protection solutions.
Manage and maintain
Linux servers
and perform OS upgrades and system monitoring.
Administer
cloud resources
in AWS/Azure and ensure security and performance.
Deploy and support
Virtual Desktop environments
, troubleshooting and ensuring compliance.
Perform OS upgrades
, patch management, and system updates
.
Configure and maintain
firewalls, VPNs, and network security
settings.
Provide
L1/L2 technical support
to users for system and network-related issues.
Manage
user accounts, permissions, and access control
in Active Directory.
Monitor system performance, availability, and resolve incidents promptly.
Collaborate with IT team members on
backup, recovery, and asset management
activities.

Preferred candidate profile

2 to 3 years of experience in
IT Administration / System Administration / IT Operations
.
Strong knowledge of
Windows OS administration (Windows 10/11, Windows Server)
.
Experience with
Microsoft Intune, Windows Defender, and Endpoint Manager
.
Hands-on exposure to
AWS or Azure cloud services
(VMs, storage, networking).
Experience working with
Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
.
Familiarity with
Linux OS administration
(Ubuntu, CentOS, or RHEL).
Basic understanding of
firewall configuration and network troubleshooting
.
Familiar with
Active Directory, Group Policy, and user management
.
Good understanding of
system security and compliance
practices.
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
