IT Administrator

job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled IT Administrator to join our team. The role involves managing and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring network security, providing technical support to employees, and implementing IT policies and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and networks
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issuesEnsure security of data, network access, and backup systemsManage IT assets (laptops, desktops, printers, servers, etc.)Provide technical support to staff (hardware/software/network issues)Set up accounts and workstations for new employeesImplement IT policies and ensure compliance with data security regulationsCoordinate with external vendors for IT purchases and supportMaintain system documentation and IT inventory

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Proven experience as IT Administrator, System Admin, or similar roleStrong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and security practicesFamiliarity with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environmentsHands-on experience with firewalls, VPN, antivirus, and backup solutionsProblem-solving aptitude and strong communication skillsAbility to work independently and in a team

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Workspace)
Experience with IT audits and compliance standardsCertification in CCNA, CompTIA, MCSE, or similar will be an added advantage
