Job Description

Job location: Anniyalam, Hosur

Reporting to: QA Lead

Required Experience: 5-9 years


Job Summary

The QA Executive is responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of Quality Assurance systems in compliance with GMP, regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards. The role involves monitoring production processes, ensuring product quality, managing documentation, and supporting timely release of AHP finished goods and HHP intermediate products.


Key Responsibilities & Competencies

Principal Accountabilities

Quality Systems & GMP Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to GMP, SOPs, MFR, and MMR.
  • Monitor GMP compliance on the shopfloor across AHP and Nutracare.
  • Support timely release of AHP finished goods and HHP intermediates.
  • Report and ensure closure of GMP and quality observations.

Product Compliance

  • Provide line clearance at all production stages.
  • Monitor dispensing activities for AHP, Nutracare, and liquid section.
  • Verify equipment calibration and cleanliness during line clearance.
  • Approve labels and packing materials for AHP.
  • Monitor process parameters and perform routine shopfloor checks.
  • Inspect finished goods at Anniyalam and update QMS.
  • Review and compile inspection reports and BMRs.
  • Communicate any deviations or non-conformities to Production/QA Lead.

Documentation Management

  • Issue, retrieve, and store BMRs as per guidelines.
  • Issue control log sheets and manage document destruction per schedule.
  • Handle deviations, change controls, and customer complaints.

Control Sample Management

  • Collect, store, and maintain batch-wise control samples.
  • Maintain sample register and issue/destroy samples as per policy.

5S & Validation

  • Implement 5S in sample and documentation rooms.
  • Conduct product, process, and cleaning validations as planned.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IPQA within the food, herbal, nutraceutical, or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of food safety systems and GMP requirements.
  • Good knowledge of QMS, documentation procedures, and validation activities.
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, and process compliance skills.
