THE ROLE:

THE PERSON:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead, mentor, and grow a diverse verification engineering team.
• Own and drive verification strategy and execution for IPs and subsystems.
• Oversee all aspects of verification, including:

• IP Verification:

  Develop and execute detailed test plans, environments, and coverage strategies for complex IP blocks.

• Subsystem Verification:

  Ensure seamless integration and verification of multiple IPs within subsystems.

• Formal Verification:

  Champion adoption of formal methods to complement simulation-based verification.

• Emulation:

  Drive pre-silicon validation using emulation platforms, collaborating closely with design and post-silicon teams.

• Post-Silicon Debug:

  Lead and support post-silicon validation and debug activities, working closely with hardware and software teams to resolve issues and optimize product quality.
• Collaborate with architects, design, firmware, and validation teams to define verification requirements and close coverage.
• Drive continuous improvement in verification methodologies, automation, and quality metrics.
• Provide clear technical leadership, regular status updates, and risk assessments to stakeholders and executive leadership.

• Demonstrated innovation in verification processes. Experience with AI/ML-driven verification or developing custom automation scripts to improve test generation, coverage analysis, or bug triage is strongly preferred. Ability to evaluate new verification technologies and incorporate them to continuously improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and technical excellence within the team.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 16+ years experience

• Demonstrated leadership in managing and scaling verification teams for large, complex projects.
• Deep expertise in IP and subsystem-level verification, including UVM/SystemVerilog, formal verification, and emulation.
• Experience in data and control path verification of designs in PCIe, High-Speed DMAs, and NVMe controllers.
• Experience leveraging AI tools and methodologies to enhance verification productivity and coverage is preferred.
• Proven experience in developing and deploying automation solutions using AI to improve verification efficiency and effectiveness.
• Significant exposure to post-silicon debug and validation, with a track record of resolving complex silicon issues.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills across hardware and software boundaries.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills able to engage with both technical and executive audiences.
• Experience working in a global, distributed team environment.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor's or master's or PhD. degree in computer engineering/computer science
