IoT Hardware Engineer - Lithium Ion Battery

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented IoT Hardware Engineer to join our Energy Storage Systems (ESS) division. In this role, you will design and maintain IoT hardware solutions that enable connectivity and data collection for lithium-ion battery systems in the field. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing the performance and reliability of our energy storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Development: Create and optimize IoT hardware designs for data collection and connectivity of lithium-ion battery systems.

• Prototyping: Build prototypes and conduct testing to validate functionality, reliability, and performance of IoT hardware.

• Field Deployment: Collaborate with field teams to deploy and support IoT hardware in real-world environments, ensuring seamless operation.

• Data Management: Develop systems for data collection, storage, and transmission to support monitoring and analytics.

• Maintenance and Support: Troubleshoot and maintain IoT hardware, addressing any issues that arise in the field to ensure continuous operation.

• Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers, system integrators, and product managers to ensure that hardware and software components work together effectively.

• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of hardware designs, test results, and operational procedures.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in IoT hardware design and development, preferably in energy storage or related industries.

• Technical Skills: Proficient in circuit design, microcontroller programming, and wireless communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, LoRa, Zigbee).

• Tools: Familiarity with design software (e.g., Altium, Eagle) and simulation tools.

• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to address complex technical issues.

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative mindset
