About the Role

IoT Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop
firmware for IoT devices
(C/C++/MicroPython).
Implement secure and scalable
IoT communication protocols
(Wi-Fi, Bluetooth LE, MQTT, WebSockets, REST APIs).
Integrate hardware with
cloud backends
(Firebase, AWS IoT, or Azure IoT).
Collaborate with mobile app and cloud teams to ensure smooth end-to-end data flow.
Conduct
QA/testing
for edge cases like power/Wi-Fi loss and hardware outages.
Optimize architecture for
multi-device and multi-location management
.
Provide ongoing support for bug fixes, OS updates, and product improvements.
Work with cross-functional teams (BA, QA, Mobile Engineers) to deliver new features and enhancements.

Requirements

3–6 years
of experience in IoT engineering or embedded systems development.
Strong skills in
embedded firmware (C/C++/RTOS)
and debugging.
Proficiency in IoT connectivity and protocols (
Wi-Fi, BLE, MQTT, REST APIs
).
Experience with
cloud IoT platforms
(AWS IoT, Firebase, Azure IoT).
Familiarity with
mobile app integration
(iOS/Android) for IoT products.
Strong understanding of
circuit monitoring, sensors, or device telemetry
.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good to Have

Experience with
energy monitoring, metering, or submetering devices
.
Hands-on exposure to
current transformers, smart panels, or connected appliances
.
Prior work on
B2C/B2B IoT products
with a scaling roadmap.
