Job Description

Position Overview

The Investment & Property Operations Executive will be responsible for managing equity and mutual fund operations, handling property-related administrative tasks, overseeing day-to-day fund management, and supporting financial compliance activities. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with banks, brokers, tenants, and service providers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Investment & Securities Management

  • Execution of

    purchase and sale transactions

    for equity shares, mutual funds, and other securities as per instructions.
  • Verification and reconciliation of

    contract notes

    , brokerage statements, and transaction reports.
  • Updating and maintaining records in the

    wealth management / portfolio tracking software

    .
  • Handling and monitoring

    SLBM (Securities Lending & Borrowing Mechanism)

    transactions, including settlement and reporting.
  • Liaising with brokers, depository participants, and financial advisors for transaction-related matters.
  • Monitoring daily market movements and preparing periodic investment summaries for internal review.

2. Property & Real Estate Administration

  • End-to-end management of

    rented properties

    , including tenant communication and issue resolution.
  • Preparation, issuance, and follow-up of

    rental invoices

    , rent receipts, and lease compliance.
  • Ensuring timely

    payment of property tax, maintenance dues, utility bills

    , and related statutory payments.
  • Maintaining records of property agreements, renewal schedules, and compliance documentation.
  • Coordinating with housing societies, service providers, and legal advisors wherever required.

3. Fund & Banking Operations

  • Managing

    payments for personal and household expenses

    in a timely and organized manner.
  • Daily management of

    bank accounts

    , including reconciliations, fund transfers, and cash flow tracking.
  • Overseeing

    day-to-day investments

    , fixed deposits, recurring deposits, and short-term financial deployments.
  • Maintaining an updated dashboard of available funds, liabilities, and upcoming financial commitments.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal approval processes for payments and investments.

4. Accounting, Compliance & Administrative Support

  • Data entry and maintenance of accounting records in

    Tally ERP 9

    .
  • Preparation of data and documentation for

    monthly GST returns

    .
  • Ensuring timely

    payment of monthly GST liabilities

    and maintaining filing records.
  • Assisting in preparation of

    financial reports, MIS statements

    , and audit documentation.
  • Maintaining proper digital and physical filing of financial documents and agreements.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Coordinating with CA, accountants, bankers, and advisors for various tasks.
  • Preparing monthly/quarterly statements of assets, liabilities, income, and expenses.
  • Tracking reimbursements, pending dues, and follow-ups with external parties.
  • Supporting ad-hoc financial analysis, documentation work, and project-based assignments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field (preferred).
  • 7-10 years of experience in investment operations, accounting, property administration, or banking.
  • Working knowledge of

    Tally ERP 9

    , MS Excel, and online banking.
  • Familiarity with equity trading platforms, demat operations, and mutual fund systems.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and responsibility.
