Investment Coordinator NMTC (New Markets Tax Credits)

As an Investment Coordinator at our company, you will be instrumental in supporting NMTC investments and clients, contributing to impact-driven finance projects that empower low-income communities. Your role will involve transaction support, compliance management, and asset oversight, allowing for professional growth and skill development. Key Responsibilities: - Provide transaction and deal support by assisting in NMTC transaction closings, organizing checklists, tracking deliverables, and coordinating with stakeholders. - Maintain accurate documentation in deal folders, data rooms, and filing systems, documenting key transaction milestones. - Support team operations and communications by managing the NMTC teams group email inbox, organizing borrower reporting documents, scheduling meetings, and drafting necessary documents. - Ensure compliance and reporting by tracking deadlines and reporting periods, collecting compliance documentation, and assisting in preparing compliance reports. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred. - Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Smartsheet); experience with SharePoint is advantageous. - Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. - Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) with a professional client-facing approach. - 2+ years of experience in finance, asset management, real estate, project management, or compliance is preferred. - Eagerness to learn about NMTC, community development finance, or impact investing. Preferred but not mandatory: - Experience with underwriting or portfolio management. - Knowledge of NMTC program requirements or real estate finance.,
