As a Senior Analyst in Valuation, Modeling & Economics, your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and reviewing financial models for various purposes such as strategic planning, capital allocation, transaction support, mergers and acquisitions, investment appraisal, and financial accounting and reporting - Identifying issues and proposing strategies related to the procedures executed - Staying abreast of current business and economic developments relevant to the client's business - Demonstrating teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members - Exhibiting in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge - Maintaining long-term client relationships and networks - Utilizing current technology and tools to innovate and enhance the effectiveness of services provided and acting as a leader in adopting new tools and techniques - Working in a highly regarded team that values collaboration, respect, and knowledge sharing - Collaborating closely with other Strategy and Transaction teams and the wider firm We are looking for individuals who possess the following qualities: - Agile, growth-oriented mindset - Curious and purpose-driven approach - Inclusive mindset that embraces diverse perspectives - High motivation, analytical thinking, and attention to detail - Ability to adapt to changing requirements or deadlines in support of clients" goals To qualify for this role, you must have: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting; Masters preferred - CA/CFA preferred or MBA (preferably from a premier institute) with a good academic background - 3+ years of related work experience - Experience with venture capital, investment banking, commercial banking, or national accounting firm; experience in a financial modeling practice is preferred - Demonstrated aptitude in quantitative and qualitative analysis - Strong financial modeling skills - Ability to create innovative, robust, and flexible financial model solutions based on clients" financial and operational information to provide insight into client decisions - Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills - Ability to manage own learning and contribute to knowledge building - IFRS experience is a plus - Proficiency in MS Excel with additional experience in one or more of the following preferred: MS Access; SQL Server; Data Visualization applications (e.g., Tableau, PowerPivot, Power BI); Statistical packages and coding languages including Python, R, VBA, C#, and/or C++ - General PC proficiency including Word and PowerPoint We expect candidates to be available to travel outside of their assigned office location at least 50% of the time, plus commute within the region to other GDS locations on a short or long-term basis when required. As an Investment Analyst at Dvara Holdings, you will be an integral part of the investment team, contributing to researching, analyzing, and executing investment strategies. Your role will involve supporting the founders" office of DVARA's portfolio entities, providing transaction advisory services, and handling legal documentation. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with experienced professionals in the industry across various departments. Your responsibilities will include: Financial Modelling & Analysis: - Develop financial models for investment opportunities, such as projected financial statements, valuation models, sensitivity analysis, unit economics, and benchmarking. - Coordinate, prepare, and review financial reports, ensuring accuracy and conducting financial analysis. - Analyze results, identify trends, and offer recommendations for optimization. - Assist in preparing budgets (Annual Operating Plans/ Business Plans) for the Group. Transaction Support and Advisory: - Collaborate closely with stakeholders to execute transactions. - Establish tax-efficient and legally sound investment structures aligned with the company's strategy. - Negotiate terms of investment opportunities with the Executive team. Portfolio Management: - Support in managing the company's investment portfolio, monitoring performance, and generating management reports. - Identify and assess potential risks, develop risk mitigation strategies. - Prepare investment materials, including memos and pitch decks, for presentation to management and investors. Investor Relations and Reporting: - Prepare reports for investors, including financial statements and performance updates. - Deliver presentations to senior management and investors, communicating financial analysis and investment recommendations. Investment Strategy Development: - Work with the Executive team to identify investment opportunities and develop strategies. - Conduct research on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies. - Identify and research potential investment opportunities, build relationships with stakeholders, and contribute to deal sourcing efforts. - Conduct thorough diligence on potential investments, including financial and legal analysis. Stakeholder Management, Compliance and Regulations: - Coordinate and collaborate with external organizations for financial data and analysis. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and monitor changes in regulations impacting investment strategies. Key Requirements: - Relevant bachelor's degree (Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Commerce). - Chartered accountant or equivalent professional qualification with 3 to 5 years post-qualification experience. - Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and judgment. - Proficiency in Financial Modeling and presentation tools. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal). - Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams within a matrix environment. - Drive for results, teamwork, and inclusion.
