Investment Analyst - Recai

As an Investment Analyst, this role will primarily focus on researching market trends, curating investment portfolios based on data-backed insights, identifying new fund opportunities, and creating personalized investment plans for clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, researching market dynamics, and offering recommendations to support Zinc's mission to provide tailored investment strategies for resident Indians looking to diversify their investment portfolios globally, or planning to build a dollar denominated corpus to fund their child's foreign education goals.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Market Research & Trend Analysis:

Conduct thorough market research to analyze trends in the financial sector, particularly those relevant to education financing and investment.

Stay updated on global economic, market, and industry trends to provide actionable insights for investment strategies.

Identify emerging financial opportunities that align with client goals and the overall vision .

Publish blogs, financial content based on your research to engage clients.

2. Portfolio Curation & Investment Strategy:

Curate investment portfolios based on data-driven insights, client risk appetite, and investment goals.

Build personalized investment plans for clients, balancing risk and return according to their financial objectives and timelines.

3. Data Analysis & Reporting

Collect and analyze large data sets to assess market conditions, securities performance, and investment viability.

Provide regular updates to the leadership team / investment committee with clear, concise reports and recommendations.

4. Basic Qualifications

Minimum of a MBA degree (Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred); Specialization in Analytics and Data Science is a plus.

2+ years of relevant work experience in equity research, investment analysis, or a similar role within wealth management firms, private equity, or asset management companies.

Proven experience in analyzing, managing, and curating investment portfolios and strategies.

Advanced Excel skills required; experience with VBA, Macros, SAS, or Python is a plus.

Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to assess financial data and market trends.

Ability to curate personalized investment portfolios based on clients risk appetite and financial goals.

Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience with investment presentations and reports.

Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
