Responsibilities:

• Conducts especially demanding audits at company locations as well as project sites, and internal investigations of Compliance and Fraud background in India
• Conducts internal investigations of Compliance and Fraud background in other English speaking countries as part of a global internal audit and compliance team
• Based on audit results, assists management in improving the risk management process, internal control environment and operational efficiency across all functions and entities within in India
• Helps to promote the requirements and benefits of good corporate governance throughout in India and gives advice to management on the control arrangements and risks relating to proposed policies, programs and projects
• Promotes the highest standards of ethics and standards across the organization based on the principles of integrity, objectivity, competence and confidentiality
• Develops and maintains an audit universe of all activities in India and an annual risk-based audit plan for these activities, as well as in the development of audit plans setting out scope, objectives, risks & tests for internal audit assignments.
• Establishes an effective program for assuring professional quality standards
• Builds and demonstrates commitment to continuous improvement within the Internal Audit function and during collaboration with management of the audited units and other internal stakeholders
• Identifies, designs and implements innovative audit programs as well as auditing techniques and tools based on professional standards to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of Internal Audit in India and addresses the audit challenges arising from a continuously changing business environment
• In context of investigations in India or globally support the identification of irregularities, fraud, and corruption within the organization
• Aid in the assessment of processes, transactions, and financial reports to ensure compliance with standards and regulations
• Assist in the documentation and reporting of investigation findings, ensuring accuracy and clarity
• Collaborate closely with the Audit Teams and Corporate Investigation team to provide necessary support
• Participate in the development of measures for risk mitigation and control, based on investigation outcomes

experience with Big 4 should suffice, however should have worked on such IA/Investigation projects of MNC manufacturing/engineering. Either MBA or CA
