Inverter System Engineer FuSa

• Define and manage inverter system-level requirements across performance, interfaces, and safety boundaries
• Develop functional and technical architecture integrating hardware, software, and vehicle systems
• Coordinate cross-functional design reviews and ensure end-to-end traceability through development and validation
• Support integration testing, performance verification, and root cause analysis within the V-model lifecycle

Functional Safety (FuSa)

• Lead safety lifecycle activities aligned to

  ISO 26262:2018

  , including system-level safety planning
• Conduct and document key safety analyses:

  HARA

  ,

  FMEA

  ,

  FTA

  ,

  FMEDA

• Define

  ASIL requirements

  , safety goals, and technical safety concepts for inverter platforms
• Collaborate with HW/SW teams to implement and verify safety mechanisms and diagnostics
• Prepare

  safety case documentation

  and support OEM safety sign-off milestones

Technical Leadership

• Act as lead technical representative for inverter system and safety topics across internal and external stakeholders
• Guide junior engineers and promote best practices in safety-led systems engineering
• Liaise with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and certification bodies to ensure compliance and integration

Knowledge / Experience

• Experience

  in automotive systems engineering with a focus on

  inverter development

• Functional Safety

  experience, ideally on

  power electronics and inverter systems

• Expertise in ISO 26262 and ASPICE-compliant processes
• Proficient with safety tools: DOORS, Polarion, Medini, PTC Integrity, or equivalent

• Familiarity with high-voltage EV architectures and

  powertrain integration strategies

• Experience with

  CAN, LIN

  , diagnostic protocols, and model-based design
• Awareness of

  cybersecurity (ISO/SAE 21434)

  and its application to inverter systems
• Strong leadership, analytical, and technical documentation skills
