Inventory Planning & Supply Chain Management Role

As an Inventory Planning & Supply Chain Management professional, you will be responsible for driving inventory quality initiatives on a global scale. This includes preparing and analyzing excess, NCM, and SLOB (slow-moving and obsolete) inventory reports. You will lead discussions with regional teams to implement corrective actions and collaborate effectively to optimize stock levels and enhance supply chain efficiency. Your role will involve owning the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes for supply and inventory management in specific regions. Working closely with regional counterparts, you will ensure the alignment of production plans with inventory requirements and market needs. Utilizing analytical tools such as the Proprietary UPL tool SONAR, you will assess excess/short orders and implement necessary actions to optimize stock levels. In addition, you will conduct regular reviews of raw material stocks, inventory/sales trends to support strategic decision-making. Collaboration with demand planners, production planners, Commercial operations team, logistics team, and procurement teams will be essential to drive inventory quality, inventory levels, and working capital initiatives. You will lead the annual/biannual target-setting, inventory norms setting exercises for inventory and supply planning, including lead time and safety stock parameters. Furthermore, you will support the implementation of advanced inventory management tools and systems to drive efficiency improvements. Your role will also involve preparing for and conducting leadership meetings on a regular basis to provide updates on inventory status. Overall, your contributions will play a crucial role in optimizing stock levels, enhancing supply chain efficiency, and supporting strategic decision-making in inventory planning and supply chain management.,
