FBA Management: Demonstrate proficiency in creating FBA shipping labels and managing shipments through Amazon's Fulfillment by Amazon program. Ensure compliance with Amazon's FBA requirements and guidelines. Manage FBA inventory levels, optimizing for storage costs and order fulfillment efficiency. 5. Data Analysis: Use analytical tools to assess inventory trends and identify areas for improvement. Generate reports and provide insights to enhance decision-making processes. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track inventory health and performance. 6. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with internal teams to optimize inventory turnover and maintain high in-stock rates. Communicate effectively with manufacturers, suppliers, and logistics partners to facilitate smooth operations. Provide regular updates to management on inventory status and any potential issues. Qualifications: Minimum of 4+ years of experience in inventory management, preferably within an e-commerce industry. Candidates with less experience may be considered based on skills and relevant experience. Proven experience with Shopify and Amazon FBA, including creating and managing FBA shipping labels. Strong understanding of international shipping logistics, particularly from India/China to North America/UK/EU, and other regions. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB Responsible for warehouse management which includes space hire, inventory control, material handling, ensuring statutory/legal compliances and transportation planning & execution. Accountable to ensure that both internal and external customer service level performance metrics are met and the logistics spends are as per plan. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Warehouse Space and Services Management: a. Basis plan for the year, ensure warehousing space is taken as per requirement to service demand and space is used effectively. As per seasonal demand temporary spaces are taken on time and released as per plan. b. Responsible for identifying warehousing space, negotiation of rentals, coordination with reporting manager for approval and ensuring all legal/EHS clearances are taken on time before release of agreement to the vendor. c. Ensure EHS compliance and other statutory compliances are compiled from time to time in the warehouse with respect to infrastructure and operational management. d. Identify, negotiate and finalize warehouse service provider (WSP) to manage operations effectively and propose to Asst. Manager Logistics for approvals. e. Review of WSP performance on periodic basis and ensure action plans are made to address any gaps in performance. Review of action plans and closure of the same. 2. Operational Management: a. Basis demand during the year ensure manpower planning is done along with WSP and propose the same for approval to reporting Manager Logistics. Monitor deployment of manpower and other resources as per agreed plan with the WSP. b. Daily monitoring of all stock transfers receipts and Issues to ensure trucks are unloaded/loaded on time and GRN is posted on timely basis. All sales orders placed in the system to be executed within 24 hrs from the time of receipt of dispatch advice (DA) into the system. In case of any non-execution reason for to be validated and escalated to Sales team or concerned person for dispatch. Ensure for all WSPs in the region, the daily cycle count and monthly stock count are conducted timely to ensure stock accuracy at line item/batch level are maintained. Ensure third party stock audits done in WSPs and reconciled on timely basis. e. Pest control, Safety measures such as fire extinguisher refilling and other maintenance activities are carried out timely and documented for verification during third party audits. f. Maintenance of MHEs and requirement planning of MHEs to be done from time to time so that there is no downtime which may affect productivity of the warehouse. g. Ensure FMFO compliance in WSPs are followed and any deviation in the same to be addressed immediately. h. Responsible for training WSPs on SOPs related to operations. 3. Transportation planning and Execution: a. Identify, evaluate and negotiate freight rates with transporters for movement of stocks from warehouse to customers. Assist Logistics team for closure of negotiation and finalization of transport contracts on time. In case of revision of existing freight rates, reason for change in freight rates to be substantiated with explanation or with competitive quotes. b. Develop route plan from warehouse to customers for maximizing clubbed load deliveries for part load and truck load movements. Ensure transport contracts are finalized for maximizing clubbed load deliveries. c. Ensure customer service level reports are sent to sales team on periodic basis and all customer complaints are closed on timely basis 4. MIS reporting: a. On monthly basis warehousing and transportation costs should be rolled up basis transaction and should be provided to reporting Manager. b. Daily order execution status, receipt & dispatch status of trucks that has reported to warehouse and any other reports relating to region needs to be sent to the concerned. c.
