Role & responsibilities New Vendor Development : Adopt appropriate supplier management methodologies by identifying new sources based on maintenance requirements through profile & benchmark study and make them as approved vendors by visiting them / trial order supply and release the purchase order to reduce lead time. To ensure delivery by negotiating with suppliers on lead- time , cost and quality , communicating supplier schedule failures or any other , intiate action on poor quality supplies , debit to supplier if any , due to delay or any other reason.
