1. An inventory manager oversees a company's products, materials, and supplies, ensuring accurate tracking and optimal stock levels to meet demand and control costs.
2. Monitoring inventory, ordering new stock, receiving and recording deliveries, managing supplier relationships, training staff, and using software to manage inventory systems and generate reports.3. Source and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate cost-effective deals, and resolve delivery or quality issues.4. Design and implement inventory control procedures and use inventory management software to ensure efficiency.5. Generate detailed reports on inventory levels, operational efficiency, and supply chain progress for management.6. Implement strategies to reduce inventory costs, minimize waste, and ensure supplies are balanced with demand.
