Job description: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Inventory Manager. Theideal candidate will possess exceptional Excel skills along with a strong understanding of inventorymanagement principles. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory control,including tracking stock levels, managing inventory databases, and optimizing inventory processes to ensureefficient operations. Inventory Monitoring and Analysis: Regularly monitor inventory levels and analyze data to identifytrends, forecast demand, and anticipate potential shortages or overages. Inventory Management Systems: Utilize advanced Excel skills to maintain and update inventorymanagement systems and databases accurately. Implement improvements to streamline processes andenhance accuracy. Order Management: Coordinate with purchasing and procurement teams to ensure timely ordering. Inventory Audits: Develop and implement procedures to address any discrepancies identified during audits. Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports on inventory performance, including stock levels, turn overrates, and other key metrics. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, sales, and finance, to ensure alignment of inventory management efforts with overall business objectives. Supplier Management: Work closely with suppliers to resolve any issues related to product availability, quality, or delivery schedules. Negotiate favorable terms and pricing agreements to optimize inventory costs. Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to inventory management, including safety standards and inventory valuation methods. Qualification: Any Bachelor's degree. Proven experience in inventory management. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-drivendecisions. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of inventory management software systems (e.g., ERP systems) is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and external partners.
