Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

Coordinate incoming and outgoing stock, deliveries, and logistics.
Monitor stock levels and conduct periodic stock takes.
Implement planograms and adjust stock locations based on business requirements.
Supervise up to 20 staff members, including preparing weekly rosters and conducting staff evaluations.
Interview and train new employees.
Record all stock movements and deliveries in the database and prepare regular reports.
Conduct inventory reconciliations and MIS reporting.
Perform TO/TI reconciliations and ensure reduction in damages and expiries.
Maintain overall control of distribution center inventories.
Ensure weekly and monthly stock checks and maintain perpetual inventory across locations.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly management reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct fraud assessments and implement measures to reduce business risks.
Perform store and compliance audits.
Control shrinkage, dump, damages, expiries, and pilferage, with regular reporting.
Manage location-wise asset ownership, including recording, reconciliation, and periodic verification.
Train and mentor new floor staff in receipting, restocking, and documentation.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Prior experience in warehouse or distribution center management.
Strong knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and logistics processes.
Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
Skilled in reporting, MIS, and data reconciliation.
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with audit, compliance, and loss prevention practices.
