You will be responsible for overseeing the inventory management processes, implementing strategies to reduce wastage, and ensuring the quality of fresh produce. Your key responsibilities will include: - Implementing and maintaining effective inventory management systems to optimize stock levels and minimize holding costs. Monitoring inventory levels, reorder points, and lead times to ensure adequate stock availability. - Developing and implementing strategies to minimize wastage during the handling, storage, and transportation of vegetables and fruits. Analyzing and reporting on wastage trends, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions. - Conducting regular quality inspections of incoming vegetables and fruits to ensure compliance with established standards. Collaborating with suppliers to address quality issues and establish quality improvement initiatives. - Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, wastage data, and quality inspection results.
