Internet of Things Engineer

Role Overview: At ZENNER Aquamet India, we are seeking an IoT Engineer to join our team and contribute to our journey of shaping the utility landscape in India and neighbouring countries with cutting edge metering solutions. As an IoT Engineer, you will play a key role in developing digital and smarter metering solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Possess good knowledge of IoT devices, sensors, gateways, and networking systems - Gain exposure to AMR/AMI and datalogging based systems - Demonstrate proficiency in water meter, gas meter, and other metering solutions - Hands-on experience in electronic device development and maintenance - Ability to interpret project requirements and design appropriate solutions - Proficient in basic computer operations and tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Experience in configuring and integrating IoT sensors using software tools - Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and web-based dashboards - Knowledgeable about meter interfaces including Digital pulse, Analog mA/mV, RS485 based Modbus, MBus, NFC, Bluetooth, etc. - Basic understanding of networking technologies like GPRS, 4G LTE, NB-IoT, LoRaWAN, among others Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, or Computer Science - 3-5 years of experience in a similar role - Skills in IoT, Water & Gas smart metering, Smart cities, Software and Services, LoRaWAN, ZigBee, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Sigfox, GSM/GPRS, 3G, 4G, 5G, NBIoT Additional Company Details: At ZENNER Aquamet India, we are dedicated to providing innovative metering solutions and are committed to excellence in service delivery.
