Internet of Things Engineer

As a professional services firm, you will play a crucial role in enabling clients to remain competitive in today's fast-paced world. Key Responsibilities: - Provide advanced technical support for AWS IoT services, resolving complex issues related to device connectivity, data ingestion, security, and integration with other AWS services. - Interact indirectly with customers to understand their technical issues, provide timely updates, and ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution via Jira Service Management (JSM). - Handle escalated cases from Level 1/Level 3/Business support, taking ownership of issues and driving them to resolution while adhering to defined service-level agreements (SLAs). - Perform thorough analysis of incidents, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures to minimize recurring issues and improve service reliability. - Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and best practices for internal knowledge base and customer-facing documentation, contributing to the overall improvement of support processes and customer experience. Qualifications Required: - Experience in Jira, AWS Services (Lambda, Cloudwatch, Kinesis Stream, SQS, IoT Core), and NewRelic will be an advantage. - At least 4-5 years of experience in Cloud Operations (CloudOps) Profile. - Proficiency in infrastructure management, monitoring and incident response, automation and scripting (knowledge of Python or node is mandatory), security and compliance, performance optimization, collaboration and documentation, and continuous improvement in cloud operations.
