We are looking for a Level-2 IoT Support Engineer with strong experience in AWS microservices, IoT systems, and Mobile/Web application support. The ideal candidate should have hands-on troubleshooting skills, deep understanding of IoT device operations, and the ability to handle production issues independently. This role requires adherence to SLAs, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and strong AWS service knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level-2 support for IoT platforms, connected devices, and mobile/web applications.
  • Handle escalations from L1 support and manage production incidents (P1/P2).
  • Troubleshoot issues related to device connectivity, firmware, APIs, and cloud integration.
  • Resolve or escalate issues while ensuring minimal downtime and MTTR compliance.
  • Work extensively with AWS services such as:
  • AWS Lambda
  • DynamoDB
  • IoT Core
  • AWS Kinesis
  • Amazon S3
  • Monitor system logs, diagnose errors, and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Document troubleshooting steps and contribute to knowledge base.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum

    4 years of experience in L2 support

    for IoT, AWS-based, or Mobile/Web applications.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • IoT concepts and architecture

  • Firmware and its role in connected devices

  • L2 support processes and ticket lifecycle

  • Familiarity with

    SLA definitions for P1/P2 tickets

    , escalation protocols.
  • Understanding of

    Priority vs Severity

    , and

    MTTR (Mean Time to Resolution)

    .
  • Proven track record of independently resolving complex technical issues.
