Job Description

As a Freight Broker, your role involves generating leads, attracting new prospects, and developing a sales pipeline. You will be responsible for identifying and selecting reputable and safe carriers for freight services, providing customers with shipping quotes, booking orders with carriers, and assisting in preparing carriers for loads. Tracking the status of loads, collaborating with shippers, carriers, and dispatchers, managing scheduled collections and drop-offs, and keeping accurate records of relevant activities are also part of your key responsibilities. Additionally, you will update customers on the status of shipments, assist with inquiries, and maintain current knowledge of market trends in the transportation marketplace. Qualifications required for this role include a graduation degree, preferably with 6+ months of work experience in a similar role or US sales experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites, excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills (verbal and written), outstanding people skills, proficient negotiating skills, and a demonstrated ability to meet sales targets are essential. You should also be comfortable working in night shifts. In terms of additional details, this full-time position offers Provident Fund benefits and requires working night shifts on Monday to Friday, in person. The experience level sought for this role is from fresher to 2.5 years. Total work experience of 1 year is preferred.,
