Internal Sales Engineer

Role Overview: As an Internal Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support to the sales team, understanding customer requirements, and delivering suitable solutions. You will be responsible for preparing technical presentations, creating accurate quotes, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and collaboration with various teams. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical expertise and support to the sales team during the pre-sales process. - Understand customer requirements and propose suitable solutions to meet their needs. - Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients. - Create accurate and competitive quotes based on customer specifications. - Assist in drafting technical proposals and documentation in line with company standards. - Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or virtual meetings and clarify technical details. - Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to support repeat business. - Work closely with external sales, engineering, and production teams to coordinate efforts. - Coordinate with product managers to stay updated on product changes and provide customer feedback. - Maintain records of customer interactions and sales activities in the ERP system. - Track and report on sales metrics, lead status, and conversion rates to support sales targets and KPIs. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in technical sales support or a related field. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers. - Ability to understand and propose technical solutions based on customer requirements. - Proficiency in CRM systems and reporting to track sales activities and metrics.
