As a Finance Accounts graduate joining our Global Finance team, you will be responsible for applying generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) to analyze financial information, reconcile financial statements, prepare general and standard journal entries, assist in budget development, and prepare accounting and financial reports for management. In Your Journey, You Will - Compile and analyze financial information for various financial statements and accounting reports. Make appropriate journal entries for recording in the general ledger by ensuring calculations are accurate, reviewing figures" basis, and balancing and reconciling figures. - Maintain and coordinate accounting control procedures by analyzing revenue and expenditure trends. Recommend suitable budget levels to ensure proper expenditure control. - Analyze and review accounting and financial resources for property acquisitions, dispositions, closings budgets, and expenditures for different funding sources. - Perform specialized tasks related to construction and development. This includes preparing draw schedules, managing job budget cost variances, interacting with contractors and sub-contractors, and handling lien releases and contracts. - Review fixed assets, place assets in service, and act as a liaison to internal and external auditors. Explain journal entries and financial transactions, provide research data, and answer questions to facilitate timely completion of audits. - Communicate with on-site and property managers to support pre-close and close activities, answer queries, and ensure timely completion of accounting processes. - Complete various financial, accounting, administrative reports, analyses, and other assigned duties.
