Intermediate Accountant – Offshore -Sydney-based Accounting & Advisory Firm

Key Responsibilities Financial Compliance & Bookkeeping Manage general ledger entries, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, payroll journals Ensure accurate and timely bookkeeping compliant with Australian standards Maintain records for individuals, companies, trusts, and SMSFs Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare periodic financial reports Generate working papers and trial balances Support SME budgeting and cash flow forecasting Tax Compliance & Advisory Support Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, income tax returns Draft tax computations and compliance documentation Assist in preparing basic tax advisory notes SMSF Administration Process SMSF transactions via Class or BGL Assist with SMSF financials and tax returns Maintain documentation and lodgements Client Communication & Coordination Liaise with Australian client managers Support deadline management and compliance filings Skills & Qualifications Accreditation: CPA, CA preferred Experience: 5+ years in Australian tax/accounting 3+ years SMSF (Class/BGL) offshore experience with Australian firms desirable Technical: Strong skills in Xero, Class, BGL360, CAS360 Proficiency in Microsoft Office and cloud-based tools Soft Skills: Excellent English communication Detail-oriented, deadline-driven Professional and capable of working independently Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Supplemental Pay: Performance bonus Yearly bonus Ability to commute/relocate: Prahlad Nagar, Ahmedabad, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: SMSF: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: CPA , CA (Preferred) Location: Prahlad Nagar, Ahmedabad, Gujarat (Preferred) Work Location: In person
