Interior Site Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management:Site engineers plan, organize, and manage construction projects from start to finish, including coordinating with various teams, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining timelines and budgets.
• Technical Oversight:They ensure that construction work adheres to approved plans, specifications, and regulations. This involves reviewing technical drawings, conducting site surveys, setting out levels, and verifying that work is executed correctly.
• Quality Control:Site engineers monitor construction progress, ensuring that work meets quality standards and specifications. They conduct site inspections, identify and resolve any issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Safety Management:They enforce safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel on site. This includes conducting safety briefings, implementing safety protocols, and addressing any safety concerns.
• Communication and Coordination:Site engineers communicate with clients, contractors, subcontractors, architects, and other professionals. They provide technical advice, resolve issues, and facilitate effective collaboration among all parties involved.
• Budget and Resource Management:They manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure efficient use of resources. They may also be involved in negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers.
• Documentation and Reporting:Site engineers prepare site reports, maintain records of progress, and document any issues or deviations from the project plan.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Civil Engineering Degree or Equivalent: A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field is typically required.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Project Management Skills: Ability to plan, organize, and manage construction projects effectively.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve technical issues and challenges on site.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential for interacting with various stakeholders.
• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of health and safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
