Interior Site Designer

Job Role: Interior Site Engineer

The Interior Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising and coordinating day-to-day execution of interior works at project sites. The role demands strong technical understanding of civil finishing, carpentry, false ceiling, flooring, painting, and coordination of MEP services, along with the ability to read drawings and manage site teams.

Key Responsibilities

Site Execution & Supervision

• Supervise daily interior site activities including partitioning, false ceiling, flooring, wall finishes, carpentry, and painting.
• Ensure execution is as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor installation of furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
• Coordinate with MEP teams (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) for smooth integration with interiors.

Drawings & Documentation

• Interpret and explain AutoCAD drawings and working details to the site team.
• Maintain and update daily site reports, checklists, and measurement sheets (JMR/DPR).
• Highlight discrepancies in drawings and report to the Project Engineer/Manager.

Quality & Safety Control

• Ensure material usage and workmanship meet the company’s quality standards.
• Conduct inspections at each stage of work.
• Enforce site safety practices among workers and subcontractors.

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers for timely material delivery and execution.
• Assist in preparing material requirement sheets and verifying quantities at site.
• Report project progress, issues, and requirements to senior management.
• Support client meetings and site inspections.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma/B.Tech in Civil Engineering / Interior Design / Architecture.
• 1–3 years of site experience in interior projects (corporate, residential, or commercial).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and basic SketchUp for drawing understanding.
• Strong knowledge of interior finishing activities and material specifications.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
