Job Description

Role & Responsibilities 1. 3D Design & Visualization ○ Develop detailed 3D models of furniture for duplex flats (beds above kitchen/study, storage under stairs, loft wardrobes, etc.). ○ Optimize designs for space efficiency, durability, and modular factory production. 2. Material Finalization ○ Work with project lead to define non-wood materials (metal, glass, stone, cement board, aluminum systems). ○ Compare multiple options in terms of cost, durability, and aesthetics. ○ Prepare a material library with swatches, catalogs, and BOQ references. 3. Vendor Coordination ○ Identify and evaluate vendors/factories for each furniture system (metal fabrication, modular fittings, glass, upholstery, etc.). And get samples made. 4. Execution Detailing ○ Prepare shop drawings and joinery details for factory manufacturing. ○ Ensure ease of installation in flats (wall-mounted, modular fitouts) ○ Conduct prototype testing for key modules (e.g., loft bed, under-stair storage). 5. Cross-team Coordination ○ Work with civil engineer (Revit model)
