Job Description: Interior Designer Company: Trance Form Department: Modular Kitchen Section: Design Reporting Manager: Modular Kitchen / Vertical Head Direct Reports: [to be mapped] Job Summary: The Interior Designer at Trance Form is responsible for project designing, including 3D, 2D, and Fusion design work, collaborating closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and updating project information in the enterprise software, 6ORBIT. Key Responsibilities: Project Designing: Utilize AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design software to create detailed 3D, 2D, and Fusion designs for modular kitchen projects. Ensure that designs align with client specifications, aesthetic preferences, and functional requirements. Collaborate closely with clients to gather input and feedback, incorporating their ideas into the design process. Client Communication: Engage with clients during walk-ins and consultations to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints. Provide expert advice and guidance on design options, materials, and layout configurations to meet client expectations. Maintain effective communication channels with clients throughout the design process, keeping them informed of project progress and updates. Software Management: Manage and update project information, including design drawings, specifications, and client details, in the enterprise software, 6ORBIT. Ensure accurate and timely data entry to facilitate seamless coordination between design, sales, and project execution teams. Sales Support: Assist the sales team by providing design support for walk-in customers, translating their requirements into feasible design concepts. Collaborate with the sales department to convert inquiries into walk-ins through effective presentation of design solutions. Act as a liaison between the design and sales teams, facilitating smooth communication and alignment of objectives. Continuous Learning and Development: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative design concepts to enhance design capabilities. Participate in training programs and workshops to improve skills in software proficiency, product knowledge, and customer interaction. Quality Assurance: Ensure that design projects adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. Conduct thorough reviews and revisions of design drafts to identify and rectify any errors or inconsistencies. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of design specifications, project timelines, and client communications for future reference and reporting. Generate design reports, progress updates, and client presentations as required by management and stakeholders. Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with the engineering department for seamless execution of design plans and coordination of on-site activities. Foster a collaborative work environment by sharing knowledge, providing support to colleagues, and contributing to team success. Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional design solutions that exceed client expectations. Address any client concerns or feedback promptly and proactively to ensure a positive customer experience. Note: - Additional responsibilities can be added whenever it required by Management.
