Position Overview

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will combine strong design sensibilities with technical proficiency, excellent client communication, and the ability to manage projects from inception through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts in line with client brief, budget, brand identity, and functional requirements.
• Create detailed design documentation including mood boards, color palettes, material finishes, furniture & lighting selections, and furnishing layouts.
• Produce drawings and layouts using CAD, 3D modelling tools, sketches, renderings, and technical details for contractors and vendors.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure design intent is realized during execution.
• Select, source, and specify furniture, fixtures, fabrics, lighting, and decorative elements, ensuring quality, style consistency, and cost control.
• Prepare cost estimates and manage budgets for design‐related expenses.
• Monitor project timelines; oversee installation and final styling to ensure timely completion and high quality.
• Present design proposals to clients; incorporate feedback; maintain good client relationships throughout the project.
• Maintain up‐to‐date knowledge of industry trends, materials, technologies, furniture brands, and regulatory codes.
• Ensure compliance with safety, accessibility, and sustainable design standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architectural Interior Design, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2‐5 years of professional interior design experience, preferably in residential, commercial, or hospitality sectors.
• Proficiency in design software: AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max or equivalent, Revit (if applicable), Adobe Creative Suite, plus rendering tools (e.g., V-Ray, Lumion).
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, finishes, and building systems.
• Excellent visual awareness, sense of aesthetics, color theory, spatial planning.
• Good project management skills: able to plan, schedule, coordinate, and follow through.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating design ideas clearly to clients and internal teams.
• Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of local building codes, sourcing channels, procurement, and sustainability practices a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
