Job Description

As an Interior Architect at our company, you will be responsible for designing interior architectural spaces from concept through completion. Your role will involve developing space planning, material selections, and construction documentation to ensure high-quality interior spaces that meet the project goals and timelines. You will collaborate with clients, project managers, and contractors to transform spaces while maintaining functionality, safety, and aesthetic appeal. Additionally, you will be required to coordinate with contractors, engineers, and consultants, select finishes and materials, and conduct site visits to monitor progress. Key Responsibilities: - Design interior architectural spaces from concept through completion - Develop space planning, material selections, and construction documentation - Prepare detailed drawings, floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings - Collaborate with clients to understand project goals, budgets, and timelines - Ensure designs comply with building codes, ADA, and safety regulations - Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and consultants throughout the project - Select finishes, materials, lighting, and furnishings as required - Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design intent is followed - Use design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Interior Architecture, Architecture, or related field - 2+ years of professional experience in interior architecture or interior design - Strong portfolio showcasing completed commercial and/or residential projects - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and other design tools - Knowledge of building systems, codes, and construction documentation - Strong project management and communication skills - Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment The company offers health insurance and paid sick time as part of the benefits package.
