Job Responsibilities

• Book Closure:

Monthly closure of books on time.

• Financial Management:

Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, working capital statement.

Manage the organization's financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Ensure clearance of statutory liability to avoid Interest.

• Accounts Management:

Supervise the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.

Ensure timely and accurate processing of all financial transactions.

• Budget Management:

Ensure that user department operate within the allocated budget by monitoring expenditures, reviewing financial plans, and making necessary adjustments to stay aligned with financial goals.

Identify and streamline processes and improve efficiency to reduce operational expenses.

• Reconciliation:

Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records promptly.

• Audit Coordination:

Plan & close external audits, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared and available for review within timelines.

Address any audit findings and implement corrective actions as required.

Independently resolved queries of auditors with multiple stakeholders.

• Regulatory Reporting:

Prepare and submit regulatory reports, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Monitor changes in regulations and adapt reporting practices as needed.

• Internal Controls:

Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard the organizations assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.

Review and improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Adherance to internal timeline.

• Team Management:

Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional growth, conducting performance evaluations, and providing constructive feedback to ensure high performance.

Job Requirements

Educational Qualification and Experience

• Inter CA
• 5-7 years of experience in accounting including supervision of accounting teams in a manufacturing company.
• Prior experience in the manufacturing or FMCG sector is preferred.
