As an ICU Physician, you will provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the ICU, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal care and improve patient outcomes. Your responsibilities will also include performing procedures such as endotracheal intubation, central line placement, and ventilator management. Effective communication with patients" families regarding prognosis, treatment plans, and care decisions is crucial. Additionally, you will participate in the development of ICU protocols and quality improvement initiatives. Supervising and mentoring ICU staff, including residents and fellows, in critical care management is part of your role. It is essential to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in critical care medicine and apply evidence-based practices. Qualifications: - Medical degree MD/DNB(Anaesthesiology) from an NMC recognized institution. - IDCCM will be an added advantage. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. - Ability to manage high-pressure situations with a calm and systematic approach.
