Job Description

As an Insurance Support Officer within the Governance, Risk & Compliance function of a global professional services and technology firm in Pune, you will play a crucial role in managing the Groups Global Insurance Programme. Reporting to the Group Insurance Programme Manager, you will be responsible for various tasks related to insurance management, including engaging with the Groups insurance broker, collaborating with stakeholders, and supporting the integration of newly acquired businesses into the Groups M&A strategy. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain insurance spreadsheets and policy schedules. - Obtain insurance certificates for stakeholders. - Assist with insurance-focused audit and tender questionnaires. - Support the collation of information required for the renewal of the Groups global insurance policies. - Work with stakeholders and the Groups Insurance Broker to capture and verify required data. - Collate claims against the business to identify trends and enable reporting. - Assist with the integration of insurances following new business acquisitions into Group policies. - Liaise with global insurance brokers to ensure adequate cover is in place. - Assist with any mid-term adjustments and new business quotations. Qualifications Required: - Experience working in the insurance industry. - Knowledge and understanding of Corporate Insurances, preferably with relevant background and experience in insurance program support. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work to tight deadlines. - Excellent planning, organization, and attention to detail. - Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels and externally. - Proficient IT skills. - Self-starting and driven to continually improve. Note: The Groups Global Insurance Programme is comprehensive, with over 60 insurance policies in force globally and a total premium spend exceeding 5m. Your role will involve hands-on management of current insurances, liaison with brokers, and active engagement in policy renewals. Your contribution will be essential in maintaining the highest standards of service and compliance within the organization.,
