Instrumentation Engineer

Job Summary

The Instrumentation Engineer will be responsible for managing project activities, preventive and shutdown maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems across the power plant. The role demands hands-on expertise in maintaining control systems to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with operational and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities
Execute regular preventive and shutdown maintenance of instrumentation systems.Prepare and maintain technical reports and system documentation.Diagnose and resolve instrumentation and control system issues efficiently.Ensure all activities comply with safety, health, and environmental standards.Guide and support junior engineers and maintenance teams.Select appropriate instruments based on process applications and technical requirements.

Qualifications & Skills
B.Tech / Diploma in Electronics, ECE, or Instrumentation & Control.45 years of relevant experience in Waste-to-Energy, Thermal, or Captive Power Plants.Strong technical knowledge of instrumentation and control engineering principles.Familiar with automation and control systems such as PLCs and DCS.Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and control schematics.Understanding of emission standards and CEMS (Continuous Emission Monitoring System) guidelines.

Preferred Expertise
Hands-on experience with Siemens PLC/DCS program modifications.Excellent analytical, communication, and team collaboration skills.
