Job Description

Instrumentation Engineer - Commissioning

Location:

Project:

Execute pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities as per the approved schedules and safety standards.
Coordinate with construction, quality, and operations teams for smooth handover and readiness of systems for commissioning.
Troubleshoot issues during commissioning and provide prompt solutions to ensure minimal downtime.
Maintain documentation and generate detailed commissioning reports.
Ensure strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) guidelines during all commissioning phases.
Conduct performance testing and ensure all systems meet design parameters and client specifications.

Instrumentation Engineer Commissioning

Commission field instruments, DCS, PLCs, SCADA systems, and control loops.
Perform loop checks, calibration, and functional testing.
Coordinate with control system vendors and resolve instrumentation issues.
Support integration between process and control systems.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) in relevant discipline.
6- 8 years of experience in commissioning within the
cement, heavy industrial, or similar large-scale plant
setup.
Prior experience in Greenfield or Brownfield projects preferred.
Strong problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
Willingness to work in a challenging site environment.
