Inspector - Product Safety & Quality

The Quality Inspector at Schindler plays a vital role in ensuring product safety and quality standards are met through conducting Schindler Acceptance Inspection Standard (SAIS) and CPSI inspections. By performing acceptance inspections, conducting tests, and reporting results in accordance with the appropriate procedures, the Quality Inspector contributes to maintaining Schindler's high standards. Key responsibilities of the Quality Inspector include making routine inspections and tests of existing installations to ensure safe operation, compliance with regulations, and performance according to test requirements. In addition, the Quality Inspector follows up on non-conformances observed during inspections, coordinates with Project Engineers and Field Technicians for corrective actions, and ensures closure of identified issues. To excel in this role, Schindler is seeking individuals with expertise in E&E, with a minimum of five years of experience in installation or seven years in maintenance. Desired knowledge and skills include familiarity with elevator and escalator products and processes, safety systems, and effective communication abilities. Candidates should hold a Diploma in Engineering, specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics.
