Inspector - Product Safety & Quality

Role Overview: As a Quality Inspector at Schindler in Pune, Maharashtra, India, your role is crucial in ensuring product safety and quality standards are met through conducting inspections and tests as per Schindler Acceptance Inspection Standard (SAIS) and CPSI. Key Responsibilities: - Making acceptance inspections and conducting tests to ensure all installation parts meet Schindler's quality and safety standards - Performing routine or periodic inspections of existing installations to confirm safe operating condition and compliance with regulations - Reporting inspection and testing results as per procedures - Following up on non-conformance observations for closure - Coordinating with Project Engineers & Field Technicians for corrective actions and field instructions Qualification Required: - Desired experience in E&E with a minimum of five years in Installation or seven years in maintenance - Knowledge of elevator and escalator products, safety systems, and strong communication skills - Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics) Schindler, a global leader in mobility solutions, is a joint venture between Jardine Matheson and Schindler Group.
