Role Overview

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be the first touchpoint for customers exploring Sunday mattresses and accessories. This is a consultative sales role 7080% of your time will be on the phone (plus chat/email), engaging with premium customers in a polished, empathetic manner. Beyond selling, you will educate customers, build trust, and ensure every interaction feels like a fine-dining level service experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound sales queries (phone, chat, email) from prospective customers
  • Use consultative selling techniques to help customers choose the right mattress or product based on lifestyle, health needs, and preferences
  • Confidently address buyer concerns and objections, positioning Sunday as a premium choice
  • Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge (firmness levels, material quality, certifications, warranties, long-term benefits)
  • Build trust through polished communication, empathy, and patience
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales conversion targets while maintaining customer satisfaction standards
  • Maintain accurate lead and sales records in CRM; follow up with undecided prospects to close sales
  • Share recurring customer objections, competitor comparisons, and pricing feedback with marketing/product teams for improvements
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Operations to ensure a seamless pre-to-post purchase journey
  • Track and improve key sales and customer satisfaction metrics such as conversion rate and customer feedback scores

  • Humble, team-oriented mindset with low ego and adaptability
  • Willingness to learn deeply about mattresses, sleep products, and customer buying behaviour

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in inside sales, retail sales, or customer support for premium products/services
  • Graduate degree preferred
  • Fluency in English and at least one Indian language (Hindi or South Indian)
  • Candidates with backgrounds in retail sales, banking, aviation, insurance, consumer electronics, or premium hospitality are strongly encouraged to apply

Compensation

6,00,000 – 9,00,000 per annum
